Gilbert Arizona Temple Open Just for Me!

The temples were not open because of COVID. We knew you would eventually get to go in ND because their temple was open with less restrictions, but to be honest, mom and dad didn't really want to travel to ND at great expense in February.... so mom called all temples local in better "phases" than the CA ones we knew would never open.  Gilbert AZ was the one that would accomodate our desire to help you become endowed before you left on your mission.

We drove thereon Wednesday February 10th, stayed the night at a nice hotel. The next morning we attended a private temple session at 11:15am where you were allowed to have 16 people with you.  Look at all the people that traveled all the way to AZ to be with you! You are so loved and blessed. 

On the way home we ate at a fun pizza place in Quartzite AZ.  Very eclectic customers.

It was a beautiful experience and we were thrilled to make it happen and grateful for all those that served in the temple that day, just for us. It has been almost a year since we were in the temple.

First Week of Online MTC!

Good afternoon everyone!

For everyone who doesn't know what the MTC is it is the Missionary Training Center which would normally be in Utah but because of the rona it is online at home for 2 1/2 weeks before I actually get to North Dakota so that when I get there I am not completely lost.

The MTC has been amazing so far! being at home is super weird though, it took a second to feel like I was actually on my mission and at times it still doesn't feel like it but it has been a good time regardless. I wake up every morning at 6:30 which is a TOUGH adjustment and then usually have a workshop for about an hour on zoom and then have a class with my district from 8:30-11:30 and then have a lunch break until another class from 1:30-4:30. So the days are pretty full and my district makes the classes fun. (If you don't know what a district or workshop or anything I said is just email me and I will explain it to you).
