The Frozen Tundra

It started getting pretty cold but I am not soft so it is all good

It was a feels like of -50 and a real feel of -30 but if you wear a jacket we can still go knock doors and get stuff done!! Missionaries try and say it is too cold to go out but if they say that, our zones motto is "Don't be soft" so they still get out and get work done which is so sweet! If you stay in you are soft and no one is gonna want to be soft.

We did get unstuck since my last email. It might've taken a couple hours in a feels like of -30 with lots of digging but we got out! Shout out to Brother Martinez in his brand new 2022 f.350 lariat for pulling us out. I have never someone drive a truck like that sheeeesh he whipped that thing like the batmobile on this super narrow snowy dirt road. He is built different no doubt.

We got a call from a set of missionaries that they were stuck in the snow like 30 minutes out of town so we went to Arby's (to celebrate our negative COVID test and get out of quarantine) and then borrowed a tow strap and went and tried to pull them out. On the first try the tow strap busted and the dang Chevy Equinox didn't even budge. We MacGyvered this sucker and put my comps Black Diamond Caribeaner that can supposedly hold over the weight of a Civic hanging from it onto the truck and tied the strap into a fancy shmancy squarenot and that Caribeaner held after like 20 different times of trying different things!!! After a few ours of a ton of digging and trying new things our Tacoma got er out. That car was high center big time on the snow and I do not know how they even got where they were. They said "Google Maps re routed us here to turn around" - sounds like a classic Michael Scott situation (if you have seen The Office you know what I am referring to)

Love you all send me an email!
