Back to Stanley for a Baptism!

This week was loaded with driving! Probably drove around 16 hours of road trip type driving.

Drove 4 1/2 hours to my last area Stanley North Dakota for the baptism of this family I taught. It was such an amazing experience being there. I had to opportunity to confirm the Mom a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Which is where we give them a blessing or special prayer by Jesus Christ's authority that he gave to his Apostles while he was on the earth which has been restored/brought back) and she came up to me after seeming very confused. She asked me if I had read from a script or something because of how specific it was. I let her know I wasn't reading from anything but just trying to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. She said that in the blessing I addressed each specific trial she is going through right now and blessed her with strength for each individual thing. When things like this happen it is a very humbling experience for me. The fact that God knows her and each of us individually is real, and I lucky to have been the instrument in God's hands for that experience.

We got to drive some missionaries to Fargo which is a city an hour and a half away from Grand Forks to go to their original assignments. I'm served around these 2 Elders in the pictures below for a bit now so I'm gonna miss em!

Got to see my old truck this week again too so that was cool

The work is going out here and it is increasing at an exponential rate because the Church is true and these really are the Last Days. Make sure you are doing your part to help the work increase in your area! It is more than just feeding the Missionaries;)

Back to Minnesota

Well I got transferred from Stanley to East Grand Forks Minnesota/Grand Forks North Dakota. I'm actually in the same ward I was in when I served in Thief River Falls exactly a year ago so I have come full circle in my mission I guess.

I'm not sure if I ever wrote about this or not but in my last area when we requested bikes and found our friend John and started to teach him we put him on baptismal date in his first lesson. He has been progressing really fast and it blitzing through the Book of Mormon and has been coming to church with his family!

The mission has been awesome, I have been out for 16 months now and I am honestly really happy I still have 8 months left I don't wanna finish for a while.

The new area is cool, the ward is probably the least unified I have ever been in but we are working hard to improve the relations between missionaries and the members slow and steady haha. My new comp is dope though! His name is Elder Mani and he is Tongan.

I got to go on an exchange in my second area I went to on my mission over in Thief River Falls and got to see some of the old members I knew.

Last P-day we started to play baseball spontaneously and there were some big ol trees and cars off in the distance as well as a couple in a hammock but we sent it and dang we were hitting DINGERS. Luckily we didn't hit anything just probably some squirrels out of a few trees like they do in benchwarmers.
