I'm back! Sorry it's been a minute

 Hey everyone!

Sorry it has been so long I need to repent and do better.

The past few weeks we have been doing a lot of driving for exchanges and stuff and on one I had the opportunity to go to a Baptism for someone I taught in Rapid City. Her name is Melissa, we put her on date for baptism in the first lesson and watching her and the whole family grow and take the steps needed back toward Jesus Christ has been amazing. Her husband is a member but fell away and has recognized the divine intervention that has happened to bring the family to church.

We also had a baptism for our friend David! He pulled into Bismarck not sure of what he is going to do here but wanted a change of pace in life and was in search of direction and the first thing he did when he got here was come to the church. He started meeting with us and watching so much joy and happiness come into his life as he made the changes necessary to be baptized and now that he is a member of the church has been crazy! He is so much happier now and you can tell he actually has a sense of purpose.

Last week we got permission to go out and see the northern lights. They were pretty weak this time around but the camera could kinda pick em up so we got a couple cool photos.

This week I was driving to an appointment and saw someone smoking a cigarette and drove past and had the thought to turn around and invite her to learn more about our message. So we flipped around and invited her and she wasn't interested at all  I was kinda confused why I was prompted to flip around but right as I had that thought, 2 of her friends came outside and we taught them a bit and they said they have been wanting to pursue their Christianity more recently but just haven't acted on it. God works in interesting ways!

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true for many reasons, one of which is the effect I have seen it make in people's lives. Changes that are only possible through Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made. It simply brings people true joy and happiness. A joy that is unconditional.
