We had a baptism in our area this week of 4 people we are teaching!!! It was a family and it was amazing to be apart of from teaching the very first lesson all the way through. Being able to watch the light of Christ change these people and bring them the joy that comes from Christ has been spectacular. There is truly nothing like it. Caroline, the mom of the family, went from smoking a pack atleast a day to quitting in less than a month and she even looks healthier. And now we are working towards going to the temple with them this weekend. If you want the joy or direction in life that this family now has in your life please don't hesitate to reach out to God and I through prayer and a quick email or message!!!
Last week we drove down and got to do a temple session! That was pretty awesome. I got myself some Chik Fil A while I was down there so that was a blessing itself.
My comp Elder Heaps and I got some bikes last week and even though our area is huge we cover a bunch of tiny towns so we use them in town so we can talk to more people. I was ripping wheelies around the block when we saw this trucker fixing his semi and so we stopped and taught him right there and now we are going to start teaching him!
Since we live on a lake we ride our bikes down to it and skip rocks which is so fun. I still got it let me tell ya. Shout out to Uncle Rick for teaching us how to skip rocks for days growing up.
